NB Consultants currently has the following TPF contract positions available:
TPF Programmer Analysts needed to analyze business requirements of various airline products and implement those products. Analyze, code, and test real-time software on a Multi-host CRS. Plan and implement systems migrations and software upgrades for TPF using Assembler S-390 and TPFDF (the TPF database facility). Various unanticipated worksite locations in US. Bachelors or equiv comb edu/exp plus two years experience. Minimum salary $91,541 per year.
Senior TPF Developer. Multiple openings. Development, enhancement and maintenance of zTPF mainframe applications using TPF tool kit and TSO/ISPF facilities. Analysis, design and development of software applications in zTPF system using OS-390 Assembler and TPFDF database. Analysis, design and development of software applications in zTPF system using ISO-C, TPF-C++ and LDAP directory. Develop XML schemas to create new services in zTPF system using XML, WSDL tools in TPF tool kit. 40 hrs/wk. Must have Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business Administration, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field (will accept a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years progressive post baccalaureate experience in lieu of Master’s) and 1 year experience (or 1 year as a Software Engineer, IT Analyst, R&D Engineer, Consultant or related occupation). Must be willing to travel/relocate to anywhere in the US for extended periods of time on short notice.
Senior TPF Developer. Multiple openings. Perform requirement analysis to write detailed technical requirements. Prepare test plans for Unit testing and Integration testing. Conduct successful User acceptance testing and train business users. Document the deployment plan and fallback plan required to deploy the changes on to the production system. Use Case development, process & workflows, change requests, test scripts. Implement and overlook test plans, test cases, environment, execution and analysis of test results. Work with IBM Assembler S/390, IBM TPF 4.1 and TPFDF applications including knowledge on Structured Programming Macros (SPM). 40 hrs/wk. Must have Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Business, Mathematics, Physics, or a related field (will accept a Bachelor’s degree plus 5 years progressive post baccalaureate experience in lieu of Master’s) and 1 year experience (or 1 year as a Software Engineer, IT Analyst, R&D Engineer, Consultant or related occupation).
